Meet Jermaine

Jermaine L. Murray is a career coach, tech recruiter, and the founder of JupiterHR. Known publicly as The JobFather, he has built an online following of 350,000 across social media and has been featured in Forbes, the LA Times, CBC, and other multiple media outlets.

JupiterHR offers a full range of career services — 1:1 coaching, a resume and LinkedIn package, and a 3-month 1:1 program — plus recruitment engagements with companies. Jermaine runs the business with a team of seven.

1:1 program Career Accelerator
3 months · $3,999.99 USD

The program is built around four pillars: a resume and LinkedIn package, job applications done for the client, six coaching sessions, and 30 days of post-program support.

He knew he had a capacity issue, and that there were gaps in service delivery. It was preventing him from accepting more clients and spending time on business development — which meant he couldn't scale.

Jermaine reflecting on the before state
A lot of my processes feel like they're being held with duct tape and good intentions. There are way too many days where I'll do so many activities and I won't feel like I've made progress in the business… I'm at my bandwidth for how much energy I can expel and my business isn't growing the way that I need it to be.

The Client Success Roadmap

Phase 1 · Deep Dive

I mapped the program end-to-end through two lenses: Jermaine and his clients.

Client calls are Jermaine's favorite work and his clients' best moments. They didn't need fixing.

But this phase surfaced three main problems:

the cost of no systems ↓
At his average volume for this program, ~300 hours of Jermaine's personal time went to work that didn't need to be his — operational overhead the system should have absorbed, and coordination work the team should have owned.

Some of the most important findings would have stayed hidden if we'd skipped straight to building. Watch Jermaine's reaction the moment one of them surfaced:

It feels like the first time in a long while that I think I'm going to be able to scale my business some more.

Since he was at his ceiling even with SOPs, automation, and AI tools, the problem was clearly the foundational system.

Phase 2 · Design

After seeing the current-state blueprint, Jermaine made his own strategic call.

The program was underpriced for what it delivered, and for the effort he and his team put into it. So he raised it.

Then I designed a future-state workflow map, specifying, in order, what the client does, what Jermaine and his team do, and what the systems handle, from onboarding through advocacy.

Some of the changes:

I facilitated a session with two of his team members. Their input shaped the project management dashboard — so they'd actually use what we built.

With Penolopie’s help in organizational stuff on SuiteDash, and also in reframing Career Accelerator, we were able to deliver more value for people…That totally changed how people approached and appreciated the service.

The Client Success Engine

Phase 3 · Build

The Career Accelerator was built from scratch inside SuiteDash.

Some of the biggest changes:

Career Accelerator

3-month 1:1 program
Communication
Every touchpoint written to set expectations and guide the client. A program diagram for the kickoff call. Renaming "coaching sessions" to "masterclasses" to match what was already being delivered. Premium framing for premium work. Each change a play against the value misalignment problem.
Automations
Portal access, emails, and project generation all triggered automatically on SuiteDash. Before, the client portal was a manual, tedious setup.
Forms
The resume materials form and the applications form merged into a single Program Questionnaire.
PM dashboard
A 40+ task template with dependencies, role assignments, and relative due dates. Tasks assigned to team and clients. Accountability built in.
Client portal
Layout designed around how clients move through the 90-day program. Branded with JupiterHR's logo, colors, and fonts.

I iterated on the project management dashboard through conversations with Jermaine and the two team members before finalizing the build.

So much better! 150,000%. Yes because the coaching classes are essentially masterclasses at this point…I see you, Penolopie. I see you. That's exactly it. I'm changing it right now.

It looks good! I didn't know it could look like that… When I saw yours, look how simple and easy to understand it is.

Phase 4 · Launch

The build wrapped with documentation that lives on after the engagement.

The knowledge that used to live in Jermaine's head now lives in documentation he and his team own.

Penolopie not only took over our SuiteDash. She onboarded my employees and she also made the dashboard and the processes and the automations. Something that insures that our clients are getting everything that they need and what they've expected when they signed on for this package.

Where he is now

The Career Accelerator runs as a system, not from memory.

What's already true today:

The economics work out across two layers at his average annual volume:

Combined at average volume ↓
~$45,000 USD/year in uplift at the new price — from realized revenue plus newly available capacity. Projections at average volume, not results yet.

But the bigger win isn't the hours saved. It's two things.

Client experience. Clients now know what they're getting, when, and what's coming next. The advocacy system turns closeouts into marketing and referral assets, fueling future clients.

Mental load. The program used to live in Jermaine's head. Now it's a documented system his team can run because Jermaine is no longer the bottleneck on knowing where any client is.

His time and energy now go to the work he loves most — masterclasses, client conversations — and to the business development he never had bandwidth for.

Is this you?

You've already tried automations, AI agents, SOPs. And you're still at your ceiling.

Your team can't move without you. Your program lives in your head. Your clients fixate on one deliverable and miss the rest.

The bottleneck still isn't fancy tools. It's a foundational operating system.

Working with Penolopie will give you the infrastructure you need to grow your business and make it autonomous without you. Taking vacation actually seems feasible. I can be more present for my loved ones because my business not having infrastructure in place isn’t crossing my mind anymore. I can actually take a breath.

If you’re looking to scale, looking to build, looking to make sure you’re not just consumed by your work, Penolopie is the right person you need to be in touch with.
